Behaviour Intelligence Timeline

The Behaviour Intelligence Timeline is a practitioner-only view that overlays a participant's behaviour events with the clinical and environmental context around them. It lives on the Intelligence tab of any participant profile and is visible only to admins and practitioners.

Reading the chart

• Purple area — number of behaviour events logged per week (left Y-axis "Events/wk").
• Teal dashed line — average barometric pressure for that week (right Y-axis "hPa"). Only appears when a location is set.
• Weekly buckets — each point represents a Monday→Sunday window. The trailing segment carries the latest week forward so the chart meets the right edge; a dotted "Today" line shows the current moment.

Toggle any layer on or off from the legend above the chart.

Range & location

• 3m / 6m / 12m preset buttons change how far back the chart reads.
• Set location stores a latitude/longitude (and AU state, if applicable) per participant. This enables the weather overlay and school-holiday bands. Open-Meteo data is fetched once per day and cached in weather_daily_cache.

Correlation stats

When at least 6 weeks of pressure data are available the header shows:

• Pressure r — Pearson correlation between weekly event count and average pressure. Values above ±0.3 are highlighted; ±0.5 is moderate, ±0.7 strong.
• Low-pressure ratio — average events on below-median-pressure weeks divided by above-median weeks. A ratio above 1.1 is surfaced.

These are descriptive statistics, not clinical evidence. Treat them as a prompt for further investigation, never as a diagnosis.

Logging the underlying data

Below the chart you'll find four list panels: Medication changes, Life events, Interventions and Assessments. Tap + Add on any panel to log a new entry. Entries appear on the chart immediately and stay scoped to the participant.

Privacy

All Intelligence-tab tables are protected by Row-Level Security and only readable by users with admin or practitioner access to that participant's organisation. The participant view never exposes this surface.

Troubleshooting

• Empty chart — no behaviour logs in the selected range; widen to 6m or 12m.
• Weather overlay disabled — set a location for the participant.
• Marker near "today" missing — fixed in the latest update; the X-axis now spans the full range and a synthetic trailing bucket carries the area to the right edge.
• Export — use the Report button at the top of the participant profile to include the timeline snapshot in a PDF.
